libev-perl software package provides Perl interface to libev, the high performance event loop, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libev-perl
libev-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libev-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libev-perl *
You will get with libev-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
